William W. Priest Joins Steinberg Asset Management


NEW YORK, March 13, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Effective March 1, 2001, William W. Priest has joined Steinberg Asset Management as Partner and Portfolio Manager. The firm name will be amended to Steinberg-Priest Capital Management.

Priest, most recently Chairman and CEO of the American business for Credit Suisse Asset Management, is a highly regarded investor. In 1972, Priest was a founding Partner of BEA Associates, the predecessor firm to Credit Suisse Asset Management. Apart from his demonstrated record of success as a value manager, he is recognized for his thoughtful articles and papers on a variety of financial/investment topics.
