Environmental Technologies to Build Very High Purity Water Marketing Team for Its Amazing AWE HVAC System

TUCSON, Ariz., Nov. 2, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Environmental Technologies International Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is pleased to report that its AWE(tm) commercialization strategy will include a separate marketing unit intended specifically to capitalize on the ability of its HVAC (heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) system to provide very high purity water as a by-product at no additional cost. Because of the very high purity of the by-product water, this unique marketing team will be composed of experts in those industries and processes for which such high purity water is an essential component of their operations.

Very Pure Water Consuming Industries

Microprocessor, or 'silicon chip' manufactures, and many other hi-tech electronic device/component makers use high purity water in critical stages of the manufacturing process. Hospitals, medical laboratories, research laboratories, food processing plants, and many other businesses rely on very high purity water to carry on their businesses. Generally, such operations also require a higher than normal standard of Indoor Air Quality. A problem with building mold in a medical research lab, for example, could be catastrophic.

As it so happens, many such companies and industries are situated in the South's 'Sun Belt' where extraordinarily high humidity raises the risk of indoor mold problems, not to mention uncomfortable working conditions. Accordingly, management views these industries as prime marketing targets for the Company's AWE system.

Potable Water Shortage

Apart from those specialized users of very high purity water discussed above, there is also the fact that, of the world's population of roughly 6.1 billion, more than 1 billion lack ready access to potable water! The World Health Organization (WHO) says that at any time, up to half of humanity has one of the six main diseases associated with poor drinking water and inadequate sanitation. This tragic water shortage is most prevalent in equatorial countries.

AWE's by-product water adds a compelling marketing strength to a system that, in two installations in Florida in recent years, has proven itself capable of highly efficient maintenance of a high standard of Indoor Air Quality, lower energy consumption, and a steady flow of by-product water of exceptional purity.

Indoor Air Quality, 'IAQ' -- A Growing Environmental Concern around the Globe

Increased problems and complaints of unhealthy Indoor Air Quality have plagued many building owners, designers, constructors, operators and occupants since the 1970s Oil Embargo, which saw a rapid and dramatic reduction in building ventilation rates in order to reduce energy consumption. Circulation rates and the flow of fresh air into buildings weren't reduced by just 10 or 20 percent, but by 60 or 70 percent! EMTI's system will improve a building's atmosphere while also reducing electricity consumption by its HVAC system.
