Maximum Dynamics, Inc. Set to Launch Prepaid Airtime in Mexico

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Jan. 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Maximum Dynamics, Inc. (OTCBB:MXDY), an international projects management and back-office services company with subsidiaries focused on mobile logistics, mobile/virtual commerce and other technology solutions, announced today that it signed an agreement with San Diego-based EWI Holdings, Inc. to utilize its PayGo Service for the distribution of prepaid products to retailers in Mexico and the United States. As a result, Maximum can now begin offering point-of-sale solutions for the prepaid market utilizing EWI's service for the processing of prepaid transactions.

PayGo is a digital technology that allows retailers to distribute prepaid products in real time from their point-of-sale systems. A PIN code is attached to a monetary unit of value for a product or service such as prepaid cellular airtime. PayGo also supports other prepaid delivery methods such as point-of-sale activation (POSA), top-up and stored value. The solution delivers prepaid products to consumers using various applications that reside on POS terminals, ATMs, kiosks or even a Web browser.

Maximum began its mobile and virtual commerce business unit in October 2003 when it secured exclusive distribution rights in Africa and Mexico for a mobile POS terminal called MPOS2002. Since then, Maximum has worked to put in place all of the components required to offer an end-to-end offering in South Africa and is now working to duplicate its efforts in Mexico.

In Cape Town, South Africa, where Maximum's global operations center is based, the company has developed its own solutions and secured partnerships that allow it to supply a range of terminals, provide multiple applications on one terminal, and offer the back-end systems needed for transaction processing, prepaid services, loyalty program management and reporting.

In Mexico, Maximum has developed several partnerships with technology companies that will collectively be working to launch a virtual, real-time prepaid air time voucher service. This means that when a merchant needs to sell $25 worth of prepaid cellular airtime, the merchant can utilize Maximum's solution to pull down the airtime from EWI's network in real time. No plastic prepaid card inventory is required, which is an added value to merchants.

Using the card system, the prepaid cards arrive at the merchant location already "activated," putting them at risk of being shoplifted or stolen. The merchant also has to buy the cards, pay for them in advance; stock them and carry them as inventory. There is also the hassle of making sure they have the right denominations from the right providers.

Now using Maximum's solution, the PIN and all the other information needed for activation that previously appeared on the cards is not available until the merchant requests it. Once this is done, the information is printed out on the receipt from the POS system. Merchants can use the solution to sell any product they want, 24/7, in any denomination they want and on demand. There is no inventory, stocking, allocation, or hassle.

"We are very excited about our opportunities in Mexico because in many ways the prepaid market here has yet to experience the explosion that the market in South Africa has recently undergone," said Victor Angel, Maximum's Managing Director of Mexico Operations. "This means that margins are higher, competition is not as fierce and the market is not saturated. With the vast majority of retailers still using pre-paid cards, we believe our service will be very well received. Our team in Mexico has been steadily working towards the goal of being able to launch our operations in Mexico for both mobile/virtual commerce and Tagnet. This is an exciting benchmark for us."

Maximum has already had discussions about reselling airtime with the primary telephone companies in Mexico where it is estimated that 90% of the people who have a cell phone prepay for their airtime. Maximum believes that it should be ready to begin offering these services as a result of this new agreement with EWI.
