Environmental Technologies Appoints Specialist To AWE Engineering's Advisory Board

TUCSON, Ariz., Jan. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The management of Environmental Technologies International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is pleased to welcome Ms. Marlene Linders to the Advisory Board of wholly owned subsidiary Awe Engineering, Inc. However one measures it, but particularly in the position as a member of the AWE Advisory Board, whereby one is concerned with specialized areas of Indoor Air Quality, Linders has a very strong background.

Linders, President and CEO of Philders Group, brings a wealth of expertise to Awe Engineering, Inc.'s Advisory Board in the areas of Environmental and Occupational epidemiology, Indoor Air Quality and Occupant Health. A Registered Nurse with an MS, and graduate studies at Harvard University's Graduate School of Architecture and Design, Linders has extensive experience and expertise in the design of high-risk environments such as surgical suites, transplant, teaching and urban hospitals for several level-1 trauma centers. Linders has taught the effect of Indoor Air and Infection Control on occupant/patient health for AMA, INSTEP, AHCA and AIA, and is the President and a founding director of the Orlando--Central Florida Chapter of AMIAQ -- the American Indoor Air Quality Council National.

Linders' valued advice to the Board on such issues as maintaining healthy and safe Indoor Air Quality in high-risk environments such as hospitals and in the new construction of those institutional buildings where there are particular problems to be overcome regarding the maintenance of healthy IAQ, will greatly assist Awe Engineering, Inc. management in addressing the enormous opportunities for its AWE Technology in these specialized markets.

"We are very fortunate indeed to have a person with Ms. Linders' depth of experience and knowledge in the areas of Indoor Air Quality and hospital/critical facility design and construction as a member our Advisory Board. In her professional capacity, Ms. Linders is widely recognized as a thought leader in her industry. We feel confident that she will prove to be of inestimable value to the company as it proceeds to bring its AWE building HVAC system to the marketplace," commented EMTI president Harold Clifford.

A Potential Multi-Billion Dollar Market

The intended use of AWE's proprietary technology in building heating/cooling, energy, and water systems is global in scope and is estimated to exceed many billions of dollars. In addition, the system also produces pure water for use by building tenants. It is a leading-edge technological advance which, when developed for building-environment control systems, is expected to find broad acceptance owing to the fact that the savings in building maintenance/operations garnered by the system will in fact pay for itself many times over.
