InRob Adds New Features to Its Wireless Fire Fighting and Rescue Robot

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- InRob Tech Ltd. (OTCBB:IRBL), a leader in the development and production of advanced wireless control systems and integrated solutions for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), today announced that the FFR-1, its fire fighting and rescue robot, now offers new features.

The FFR-1 is a unique user-friendly robot designed for high-risk fire fighting missions, allowing firefighters to pursue operations until now impossible due to physical constraints or risk to human life. This double-tracked remote controlled simple-to-use robot carries a monitor which allows firefighters to operate the robot with precision and use firefighting measures in closer proximity to fire sources than is humanly possibly. Since direct line of sight is not necessary for the robot's precision operation, firefighters remain at a safe distance from hazardous environment conditions, such as high temperatures, toxic fumes and unstable physical structures. The FFR-1's integral robust nozzles and controllers allow firefighters to execute missions safely and rapidly. The FFR-1 has a unique internal double-walled cooling system to maintain an internal robot temperature of 600 C when facing exterior temperatures of 6000-7000 C.

The FFR-1 is equipped with thermal-imaging cameras and on-board sensors such as humidity, chemical, biological and radiation sensors, to provide important information on the nature of firefighting missions to the remote operator.

"We are very proud of our FFR-1, a highly maneuverable robot that saves lives of firefighters in the most hazardous situations," says Ben Tsur Joseph, CEO of InRob. "The mechanical structure of the robot's tracks and its powerful motor and batteries create an unstoppable remote controlled fire-fighting robot that effectively fights fires in a broad range of conditions, including confined spaces, narrow streets, industrial buildings, stores, tunnels, airports, military installations, power plants, and chemical plants."
