World Am's Senz-It Subsidiary Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Curt Deckert Associates to Develop Precision Electro-Optical Hardware

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 31, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- World Am, Inc. (OTCBB:WDAM) today reported that its Senz-It subsidiary has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Curt Deckert Associates ("CDA") to develop precision electro-optical hardware for its intended product line.

CDA, headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif., has 30 years of experience as a consulting engineering firm in the design of precision electro-optical assemblies and equipment. Senz-It envisions CDA developing precision electro-optical molecular sensing assemblies and other equipment for reading and interpreting sensor arrays.

CDA, which has worked with such major firms as ITT and Rockwell International, will coordinate some engineering development activity at the headquarters of Source Scientific. Source Scientific also recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Senz-It for future development and production. CDA will advise Senz-It on designing products for manufacturability, and assigning engineering tasks as Source Scientific labor is needed. Senz-It anticipates CDA will handle the full development responsibility for sensing hardware assemblies.

"This latest addition to the ranks of Senz-It's intended manufacturers is especially gratifying," said World Am Chairman and CEO Robert A. Hovee. "Curt Deckert Associates is a firm with a solid reputation for excellence. The fact that a portion of their work will be performed in the offices of another intended Senz-It manufacturer, Source Scientific, is evidence of the meticulous way in which the companies that Senz-It intends to do business with are being recruited. It demonstrates a joining together in common cause in the pursuit of monitoring excellence."

Senz-It's planned product line represents an innovative advancement in the field of micro-sensors that have applications in homeland security, indoor air quality monitoring, food processing and health care. The products are intended to compete in the developing field of "electronic noses," and are intended to identify patterns of molecules present in air or liquid environments for significantly less cost than current approaches.
