Consumers Financial Corporation Forms Technology Based Subsidiary 'CFC Partners, Ltd.'


CEDARHURST, N.Y., Nov. 22, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Consumers Financial Corporation (Pink Sheets:CFCJ), a diversified merchant banking and financial services company, has formed CFC Partners, LTD., wholly-owned subsidiary to discover and potentially acquire new technologies with their joint venture partner through a relationship with Knowledge Markets, Inc.

Consumers Financial Corporation realizes the importance and endless rapid growth of future technological advancement. CFC Partners, LTD., a technology subsidiary, has been formed with the goal of providing CFCJ all available industrial and hi-tech strategic resources that offer broad-based knowledge, excellence and substantial growth, ultimately generating profitability to commercial markets. CFC Partners, LTD.'s mission will be to locate and evaluate uncommercialized intellectual property (IP) with a view towards meeting specific market needs.

Mr. David Devor has consented to be the president of this division, reporting directly to Jack Ehrenhaus, CEO of Consumers Financial Corporation, the parent company. Previous to CFCJ, Mr. Devor has been with Alliance Distributors Holding Inc. and was responsible for the marketing of their products as well as for their M&A division.

Prior to the Alliance Distributors Holdings Inc.'s purchase of Essential Reality, Inc in 2004, Mr. Devor had held numerous positions with Essential Reality, Inc. dating back to November 1999 including Vice President, Executive Vice President and COO where he was responsible for product development, business development and marketing of the Company's proprietary technologies.

Mr. Devor will work in conjunction with Knowledge Market to source, acquire, develop and commercialize technologies from leading research institutions such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA); NASA's Ames Research Center and Jet Propulsion Lab (JLP); National Institutes of Health (NIH); Berkeley National Lab; Los Alamos National Laboratory; Oak Ridge National Laboratory; Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; UCLA; Harvard University; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Oxford University; Cambridge University; Tokyo University; various corporate research units; and inventors with exceptional backgrounds in their respective domains.
