World Am's Senz-It Subsidiary Names Veteran Food Processing Industry Executive David K. Park to Serve as Spokesperson, Market Developer for the Company


NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 8, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- World Am, Inc. (OTCBB:WDAM) today reported that its Senz-It subsidiary has entered into a spokesperson and market development agreement with David K. Park, the president of Food-Defense, LLC. Mr. Park's more than 30 years of food industry expertise has gained him prominence in his field. He is recognized as an international authority in the preservation of extended shelf life and shelf stable foods by his work with U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service regulated products.

An independent Northern Virginia-based business, Food-Defense, LLC offers its food industry clients comprehensive food safety and food defense risk management solutions to meet complex stakeholder requirements.

His technical, regulatory compliance, and investigational expertise has often been employed by the private sector to assist in food processing and product failure analyses that may accompany public health investigations.

Mr. Park will be representing Senz-It at various conventions. He will promote Senz-It in the food safety/defense, retail and food service markets. He will also directly support and be involved in the productization and the development of Senz-It applications for the food safety/defense market.

In addition to his current position as President, Food-Defense, LLC, he currently serves as Vice-President, TechniCAL, Inc., Kenner, Louisiana, a position he has also held previously. Mr. Park was formerly a Technical Fellow with FMC FoodTech Food Processing Systems Division, in Madera, California and earlier was Head of the Process Engineering Section for the Washington Research Laboratory of the National Food Processors Association, now the Food Products Association, in Washington, D.C. He has received the Patriotic Civilian Service Award from the U.S. Department of the Army, and an Honorary Doctorate of Food Service from the National Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers. He currently holds an appointment with Argonne National Laboratories as an Infrastructure Assurance Analyst supporting food and agriculture national security interests.

Mr. Park's credentials are further enhanced by an active career of leadership, membership and involvement with other professional industry organizations, including: the Institute For Thermal Processing Specialists, the National Center for Food Safety and Technology, the Texas A&M Institute of Food Science and Engineering Advisory Board, the Institute of Food Technologists, the Research and Development Associates for Military Food and Packaging Systems, the Food Products Association, and the International Association for Food Protection. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in agriculture, with his studies focused in the field of food science.

Senz-It represents an innovative advancement in the field of micro-sensors that have applications in homeland security, indoor air quality monitoring, food processing and health care.
