Business Partners InRob, Ltd., I.T.E. Ltd. and Israel Aerospace Industries, Ltd. Ramta Division Begin Customer Demonstrations of Jointly Developed Robotic MTL Platform

TEL-AVIV, Israel, Feb. 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The three-way partnership of InRob, Ltd. ("InRob") (OTCBB:IRBL), a leader in advanced wireless control systems for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), Israel Tractors and Equipment, Ltd. ("ITE"), the Caterpillar dealer in Israel (www.israel-tractors.co.il) and Israel Aerospace Industries, Ltd. Ramta Division ("IAI Ramta"), (www.iai.co.il), IAI's integrated ground systems center of excellence have announced today that field demonstrations have begun of their jointly-developed Robotic MTL 257B platform.

Under the partnership, the team developed a dedicated robotic control system to convert Caterpillar's MTL 257 B into an unmanned platform for use in military, para-military, law enforcement, and civilian operations. The first phase of this development project has now been completed, and saw the integration of a military-qualified robotic control system into the MTL. The 3-way team is now focused on field demonstrations of the robotic MTL while integrating additional equipment and systems from each partner onboard this multi-terrain loader. Pooling each member's core competencies, the partnership is confidant of its ability to provide the market with robust and reliable, yet low-cost unmanned engineering-type equipment while safeguarding operators from harm.

The new UGV contains a very innovative remote control unit that was developed specifically for this platform. The robotic control unit includes a built-in touch screen displaying real time information of all UGV features, including state of its scoop, health of the power pack, view from vehicle-mounted cameras, etc.

The new robotic MTL will fill the strong demand for a UGV of this type by performing a broad range of engineering and debris-clearing applications while providing customized solutions using the most advanced technology. The three partners in this initiative are very pleased with the performance of the vehicle and expect the new MTL to be on the market in the very near future."
