World Am's Isotec Subsidiary Receives Automated Bank Security Portal Contract and the Potential For Business Opportunities in Additional Markets

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Feb. 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- World Am, Inc. (OTCBB:WDAM) today reported that its wholly owned Isotec, Inc. subsidiary has been awarded another bank security portal contract, this one by InterTECH Security of Maryland, LLC. InterTECH Security of Maryland recently acquired E-Quip LTD, a Maryland-based security services firm that has grown steadily over the past decade by focusing primarily in the financial, retail, correctional facilities, and government markets.

"The real value added part of this assignment," said Isotec President Ken Jochim, "is that the parent company, InterTECH Security Group, LLC, is a rapidly growing security integration company with offices in western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland. The combination of these two firms represents additional markets and potential business opportunities for Isotec." He pointed out that InterTECH's revenue grew 30% in 2006.

Since its inception in 2000, Mr. Jochim noted, InterTECH has developed an impressive client list that includes Fortune 500 companies, utility firms, professional sports venues, higher education organizations, pharmaceutical companies, public transportation authorities, and other government agencies.

"InterTECH's success in the fast growing integration market will be enhanced by E-Quip's experience in banking and correctional institutions and the addition of Isotec's products," Mr. Jochim observed. "Conversely, E-Quip's personnel will help grow InterTECH's considerable customer base in the Washington DC area. E-Quip's customers will benefit from a wider variety of product options, more service capabilities, and additional expert personnel in service, installation, and monitoring."

World Am has two operating subsidiaries, Isotec and Senz-It. Isotec designs and integrates custom Automated Security Portals that provide access control, weapons control, and materials control security solutions. Automated Security Portals rigorously control entry or exit of people and materials at secure facilities, while reducing the need for security personnel. Applications of the technology have been delivered to the commercial, retail and government sectors. Isotec's experience in this field allows it to provide high quality, code compliant, application-optimized solutions at the lowest cost in the shortest timeframe.

Senz-It represents an innovative advancement in the field of micro-sensors that have applications in homeland security, indoor air quality monitoring, food processing and health care. Its potential products are intended to compete in the developing field of real-time detection and notification devices. Senz-It is being designed to identify patterns of molecules present in liquid, blood and air environments for significantly less cost than current approaches.
