INFINITE Software Wins IMS Contract -- Completes AS/400 Migration to Windows in 90 Days

DALLAS, Aug. 14, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- INFINITE Software Corporation (Pink Sheets:IFSC), a leader in AS/400 and Mainframe Migration, Business Intelligence, Legacy Application Modernization, and developer of the award-winning INFINITE and LPS product lines, announced today that it has completed the migration and modernization of IMS' feature rich application set and is in the final testing phase of the now-graphical and web-deployed applications.

International Monetary Systems (OTCBB:INLM) enjoys a reputation as the leader in the commercial barter industry marketplace. The company has very robust, custom applications with the specific functionality their employees and clients require. What the IMS applications needed was the scalability to handle an increasing number of users, the ability to run those AS/400-developed applications on open platforms like Windows Server, and continue to enhance those applications in a functional development environment. It was also important that the applications be browser-based and fully graphical.

"We were seeking a partner organization that could bring the AS/400 migration expertise, an understanding of our desire to provide Web-based applications to our customers and prospects, and that had a reputation for success. We found that partner in INFINITE Software," said Don Mardak, President and CEO, IMS.

"The migration has begun and we are in the testing phase of deploying our new graphical, web-based applications," added Mardak.

The go-live date for this AS/400 Migration and Modernization is slated for, September 2007, and current IMS end users can look forward to enjoying enhanced operability with their migrated applications, as well as a graphical, web-enabled user interface. IMS developers will enjoy an improved development environment with the capability of making dynamic additions to the existing application functionality.
