360networks Launches Its Local and Enhanced Termination Services

The Company's New Local and Enhanced Termination Services Provide an Alternative to High Cost Long Distance Fees

DALLAS, Oct. 8, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- COMPTEL Convention & Expo (Booth 211) -- 360networks(r), the premier provider of wholesale communications services in the western United States, today announced two new service offerings: Local Termination and Enhanced Termination. These new service offerings allow customers to terminate local and long distance traffic to specific rate centers throughout 360's western U.S. footprint at a flat rate per minute. These services can be accessed via a single public or private IP connection.

"Our customers have asked for a simple way to reduce their costs of termination traffic throughout our coverage area and we have addressed those requests with our new termination services," said Rick Coma, senior vice president of 360networks. "With 360networks' new termination services, our customers will be able to reduce monthly costs while maintaining high quality, reliable service."

Local Termination

360's new Local Termination service allows customers to terminate local traffic throughout 360networks' footprint. This traffic must originate and terminate within a 360networks' supported Local Calling Area (LCA). Traffic can originate as TDM or IP from any of 360networks' rate centers in the Western U.S.

Enhanced Termination

360networks' Enhanced Termination service allows IP originated traffic to be terminated to over 7,000 360networks' supported NPA-NXX's. Both services are priced on a per minute basis and can be accessed via the public internet or directly via 360's managed IP network.
