LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The L&R Group of Companies (L&R) announced today its plan to expand its flagship facility, WallyPark, into a state-of-the-art, world class, full service parking facility onto Century Boulevard. The plan will take over the longstanding adult entertainment venue "Nude, Nude, Nudes" at the entrance to the LAX corridor by adding 2,000 additional spaces, a retail space for local businesses and restaurants, and expanding its unique brand of "first class" premiere airport parking. Currently located on Bellanca Boulevard, the new facility will expand to Century Boulevard and will reinvigorate the image of the gateway to LAX. WallyPark is one of the largest national off-airport parking companies located in five states and provides air travelers with a higher level of service and amenities that includes car care services such as auto detailing, window tinting, gas refueling and oil changes, special member programs, and a robust frequent parker program.
Local authorities, businesses, and residents are excited to see the "Nude, Nude, Nudes" facility go away, for many years considered a blemish on the Century Boulevard entrance to the LAX corridor. Construction on the new WallyPark location is scheduled to begin in October and expected to be completed by early Summer 2010. It is another new construction project for L&R, whose pioneering business model builds, owns, and manages parking facilities across the country.
