CONCORD, N.H., Nov. 17, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VUEWorks, Inc. today announced a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) licensing option for its VUEWorks(R) web-based, GIS-integrated work order and asset management solution. VUEWorks-as-a-Service (VaaS) aims to make asset management affordable for municipalities under 25,000 population, and will be offered as a hosted service by VUEWorks' channel partners. VaaS also gives VUEWorks' partners a new service to expand their customer base.

* Municipalities under 25,000 population: VaaS model allows
municipalities to access Asset Management (AM) applications with
an ESRI and IT platform with no upfront software or hardware
costs. VUEWorks partners can offer a fixed annual cost to
support and manage their client base.
* Municipalities over 25,000 in population can purchase VUEWorks,
and have the option to have VUEWorks, Inc. or a partner host
their software and GIS data.
* Direct Purchase: VUEWorks can be installed on the local
