ROK Lingo Enables Multi-Language Text and Audio Translation on iPhones

iPhone Users Now Able to Translate 6 Languages in Text and Audio With ROK Lingo

LONDON, July 22, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ROK Entertainment Group, the mobile technologies, applications and services company, has today announced the successful deployment of the ROK Lingo iPhone application onto the iTunes Applications Store.

"ROK Lingo is a simple-to-use and very useful iPhone application that translates text into several languages in both text form and audibly in real-time, near-human speech," said Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman of ROK. "ROK Lingo has been specifically designed to appeal to the frequent traveler and those learning a second language and we are already delighted with the immediate and rapid uptake of the application and the very positive reaction it is generating amongst early adopters."

ROK Lingo, currently priced at a reduced rate of $0.99c in the US or £0.59p, offers English, French, Spanish, German, Turkish and Catalan translations with a further 10 more languages to be added shortly.

"An additional use of ROK Lingo is that English is one of the languages that can be translated into. This means that should you wish, for example, to have a menu translated whilst abroad, you simply type it into your iPhone to have it translated into English," added Kendrick.
