The acquisition underscores a new approach to the ever-growing challenge posed by food waste and plastic bottles in landfills nationwide.
The Company believes that its products may offer the world's first compostable water bottle closed-loop composting system. By combining Naturally Iowa's fully compostable bottle with the Totally Green ORCA Green™ Machine, bottles and food waste can be fully composted into a liquid effluent within 48 hours in a cost-effective and earth-friendly way. Rob Phillips, the newly elected President of Naturally Iowa, Inc. disclosed that Totally Green LLC has been a strategic partner with Naturally Iowa since 2008.
