World Renowned Concert Pianist and Master Teacher Spearheads Global Weekly Free Piano Lessons Online for Talented Students

BOSTON, Sept. 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With a lifetime of achievement, internationally renowned concert pianist and co-founder of the Bottazzi School of Music in Manhasset, NY, Dr. Ana Maria Trenchi Bottazzi has launched, with her husband Dr. Bruno Giulio Bottazzi, a major initiative to bring free one-on-one piano instruction to talented students globally with weekly lessons provided in real-time online.

The Bottazzi International Musical Society (BIMS) has been formed as a non-profit charitable foundation whose mission is to identify and assist young, talented pianists worldwide by providing superb musical instruction and performance opportunities for individuals who cannot afford the best teachers. Master teachers will interface with talented students with weekly Internet instruction which would otherwise be unavailable to them geographically and financially.

The Bottazzi's motivation in establishing this unique project was to assure that their passion for the value of music education and their expertise in teaching piano, motivating their students to strive for excellence in technique and sensitivity, and creating opportunities for students to compete in international competitions and perform in prestigious musical venues will continue into the future.

BIMS will start operations this month with the launch of the Bottazzi Global School of Technique and Piano. This global Internet-instruction program will be taught by award-winning musicians, pianists and teachers with PhD and DMA degrees, many of whom are former students of the Bottazzi's.

"Our mission is to bring top quality weekly piano instruction with a focus on the art of piano technique in the school of the old masters to underprivileged talented students, even in remote regions worldwide, completely free of charge, through the use of the Internet" states Argentine born Dr. Ana Maria Trenchi Bottazzi, a Steinway Artist who holds three masters degrees and two doctorates from the Julliard School of Music and France's Paris Conservatoire, is a gifted teacher, international music judge and author.

Dr. Bruno Giulio Bottazzi, born in Italy, holds two Masters' Degrees and a Doctorate Degree from New York University. He is a gifted conductor, international music judge and teacher. He notes, "Students will be evaluated and acceptance into the program will be based entirely on the students' inability to fund their piano instruction but who have demonstrated their willingness to work hard to improve the beauty, musicality and sensitivity of their piano technique."

BIMS' goals include providing the finest musical instruction to talented and gifted musicians, creating local competitions in regions worldwide to identify budding talent and to motivate young musicians to grow and develop, presenting solo recitals, opportunities for performance with orchestras, and premiering the music of young talented composers worldwide.

BIMS, a 503c charitable foundation, welcomes tax deductible donations to assist them in their mission of finding and helping underprivileged talented and gifted musicians worldwide.
