The application can take the data from only a few swings with a 6-iron and provide guidance to the fitter on how many hybrids and irons that golfer should be playing to provide the optimal yardage gapping possible and overall set performance.
HITfit can be used in one of two ways. It can be used to be fit for an entire set of Adams Golf clubs including – fairway woods, hybrids and irons. Secondly, the app can be used by a fitter to provide guidance on where to integrate hybrids most optimally into a golfer's current bag and which hybrid design best suits the golfer's game.
HITfit not only takes a lot of the guesswork out of the fitting process, it also allows the fitting process to be completed in a matter of minutes. The app uses launch data from three or four good contacts with the golfer's 6-iron -- carry distance, handicap, ball speed, launch angle and back spin. It compares this data with thousands of previous player tests to produce the optimal set composition.
