Spectrum ASA announces new Corporate Legal Counsel


As part of the company's strategic growth plan Spectrum announces a strengthening of the Executive Management Team.

Svein Olav Staalen has been appointed as Corporate Legal Counsel in Spectrum ASA.
 
Svein Olav will start in the position 1 March and he will be based out of Oslo. In his previous assignment Svein Olav worked as Corporate Legal Councel in "Det Norske Veritas" (DNV) where he started in 2008. Before taking the position in DNV, Staalen worked 8 years as a lawyer in the law firm Haavind and 2 years as Corporate Legal Counsel in the Nycomed Group.
Complementing his professional experience, Svein Olav Staalen holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Oslo (1998) and he has a Diploma in English Commercial Law from College of Law, London (2004). Staalen has in recent years mainly focused on international contract law, company law, employment law, M&A as well as general business law
