ChemImage Receives Additional Funds for Explosive Detection Technology


PITTSBURGH, June 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ChemImage announced today that the U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command has awarded the company a $7 million contract modification for the procurement of spares and continued development efforts for its real-time sensor technology used in the field to detect explosive threats.

The work to be performed under this contract modification will include the fabrication and delivery of additional sensors to the U.S. Army, as well as continued product testing, soldier training and field support.
