NEW YORK, April 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brazil’s civil aviation regulator ANAC (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil) has issued an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to Modern Logistics, a rising Brazilian supply-chain solution company, following a comprehensive audit. The AOC was received on April 4, 2017.
Modern Logistics offers third-party logistics solutions via an integrated logistics platform with multimodal transport and distribution centers strategically-located across the country. With the AOC, Modern Logistics now adds a third, and most strategic, asset to its operation: the right to operate a fleet of cargo aircraft in Brazil and the region.

The company seeks to ‘fill the infrastructure gap,’ flying its freighter aircraft where service and infrastructure are lacking, and complement its network capabilities with strategic partners.
