Kona Grill Announces the Launch of its New Cocktail Menu


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kona Grill, Inc. (Nasdaq:KONA), an American grill and sushi bar, announced the launch of its new Kona Crafted cocktail menu.

Kona Grill’s revamped cocktail menu of 2017 features 16 diverse drinks including Bees Knees IV and Cucumber Southside – both guest favorites during menu tests at the Phoenix and Scottsdale, Ariz. locations. “The new cocktails utilize fresh-squeezed juices and are infused with a variety of simple syrups crafted in-house,” said Christopher Moran, Vice President of Food and Beverage for Kona Grill. “The new cocktail menu is inspired by our commitment to preparing fresh items, from scratch. Everything from the Summer in the City to the Blackberry Sage Soda provides a unique experience that will satisfy all guests. Each cocktail reflects a refreshing quality unwavering from our handmade philosophy. The feedback we’ve received from our menu test gives us excitement that guests will find their new favorite drink at Kona Grill.”

Kona Grill’s new cocktail menu was developed in partnership with award-winning mixologist Sean Kenyon of Williams & Graham – a couple of the most renowned names in the drink industry. Kenyon was named American Bartender of the Year in 2014, while Williams & Graham, the bar that he tends in Denver, Colo., was named one of the top 50 bars in the world in addition to many previously awarded accolades.

The new drink menu consists of 10 new cocktails, four updated Kona favorites and two non-alcoholic drinks.
