Adacel Successfully Completes Sri Lanka Simulator Project

Orlando, Florida, July 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Adacel Systems Inc. (Adacel or the Company), an industry leader in the design and production of air traffic control training systems, reported that they have completed installation and site acceptance testing for an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower and Radar simulation system at the Civil Aviation Training Center, which comes under the purview of Airport & Aviation Services of Sri Lanka.

The Adacel multi-position control tower and radar simulators accommodate both individual and team training in the control tower and radar disciplines and can be operated independently or in a fully integrated mode. The project was completed with the assistance of local agent Access International (Pvt) Limited.

“Sri Lanka is committed to providing the best possible ATC training for their controllers,” said Gary Pearson, Adacel CEO. “The Adacel team thoroughly enjoyed working with their Sri Lankan counterparts and we are proud to support their efforts with the ultimate in simulator training capabilities.”

Sri Lanka joins an impressive group of ATC training providers around the world that employ Adacel’s simulators as an integral part of their curriculum. The Company has more than 350 installations at 232 worldwide locations.
