Rev. Medgar L. Reid Joins the Sandiford Group, Inc.


BALTIMORE, Oct. 30, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Rev. Medgar LePratt Reid, D.D. was appointed Strategic Partner & Corporate Liaison to the White House and the United Nations for The Sandiford Group, Inc. on September 17, 2001.

His duties will include facilitating a virtual quarterly meeting and on-line recruiting of independent minority consultants from multibillion-dollar-industry corporations in 211 countries and territories around the globe, including all 50 states, every county and Washington, D.C. He will also interface with economic, trade and home-based small-business policies coming from the White House and the United Nations.

Reid's full-time profession is ScoutReach Director for The Baltimore Area Council Boy Scouts of America. ScoutReach provides quality Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing and Varsity Sports Programs to under-served economically challenged sections in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area.

Additionally, Reid serves as On-call Chaplain with The University of Maryland Medical System/Shock Trauma; Chairman, President & CEO of Worldwide Conglomerate Holdings; Founder & Executive Director of Reid Memorial Community Ministries with the Sick; Co-founder with Congressman Parren J. Mitchell of The Annual Seven Words to "Save Our Cities" Event; and Chairman of Outreach at Elderslie-Saint Andrew's United Methodist Church in Mount Washington, Maryland.

Reid is a member of 39 powerful and prestigious organizations including Rotary International, Offshore Institute/Oxford University, 33rd Luxor Freemason, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Sigma Rho Phi.
