Reukers Beheer, of which Reukers Bouw is the largest operating company, employs over 100 people and operates in the eastern part of the Netherlands, specifically in the fields of commercial and industrial construction, residential construction, renovation and maintenance. In addition, the company is involved on a very modest scale in project development using their own limited land positions.
The average turnover level in the past year amounted to more than EUR 23 million. The profitability is in line with the average for a Heijmans company. Reukers expects the turnover to increase to approximately EUR 25 million in the coming years. A vital part of the projects will be carried out using building teams.
The company will continue doing business under its own name as part of the Heijmans IBC Bouw division. Mr W.G.M. Reukers shall remain as managing directors. Mr J.A.G. Reukers will remain for some time as a company advisor.
The aforementioned acquisition will boost the operations of the Heijmans IBC Bouw division in the eastern part of the Netherlands. In addition, further increasing its service construction operations dovetails with the division's strategy.
