PROPOSAL FOR COMPOSITION OF SALCOMP'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS                        

The Company has been informed that shareholders representing more than 50% of   
the shares and votes in the Company are going to propose to the Extraordinary   
General Meeting of Shareholders that will be held on September 4, 2007 that the 
number of the members of the Board of Directors shall be five (5) and until the 
conclusion of the 2008 Annual General Meeting Kari Vuorialho, Andreas Tallberg  
and Jorma Terentjeff would continue as members of the Board of Directors and    
Mats Heiman and Peter Hofvenstam would be elected as new members of the Board of
Directors.                                                                      

Mats Heiman, 57, is Senior Investment Manager at Nordstjernan. He is Chairman of
the Board at Swedish companies KMT, Sirius Machinery and GP Plastindustri. He is
also Board member at Swedish companies Etac, Vingruppen i Norden and VinUnic.   

Peter Hofvenstam, 42, is Senior Vice President at Nordstjernan. He is Chairman  
of the Board at Ramirent and board member at Exel, GP Plastindustri, Scandstick 
and Sirius Machinery.
