EPOD Signs Power Purchase Agreement With the Ontario Power Authority for 3 MW of Generation


RENO, Nev., Dec. 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- EPOD International Inc. (the "Company" "EPOD") (Pink Sheets:EPOI) (Frankfurt:EDU), a Grid-Integrated, eco-power utility and electric power systems provider, has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) for the sale of 3.3 MegaWatts of solar electricity at a fixed rate of $0.42 per kilowatt-hour produced. EPOD estimates that the PPA will generate aggregate revenue of approximately $50 million over its 20-year term. EPOD plans to sign additional PPAs with the OPA, and to continue to secure additional installation sites as part of its overall recurring revenue model.
