The CDU-680 -- the first EV-DO Rev. A modem to incorporate flash memory, a GPS receiver and a unique swiveling USB connector -- is selling through Movilnet and its distributors. Franklin Wireless has a long-standing relationship with Movilnet as the operator has sold the CCU-550 and CDU-650 EV-DO modems before settling on the CDU-680 as its primary mobile broadband product.

Movilnet is the first operator in Venezuela to introduce an EV-DO Rev. A network in Venezuela and their network offers significantly faster download speeds at a peak data rate of 3.1Mbps. Users can send and receive email with large file attachments, receive and send high-resolution pictures and video and wirelessly connect to the Internet anytime, anywhere.
