SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - March 3, 2008) - Citation Technologies Inc. today announced a

environmental due diligence standards and related governmental regulations
via the citation™ Web-based platform. In particular, the newest ASTM
document -- E2600-08, Standard Practice for Assessment of Vapor Intrusion
into Structures on Property Involved in Real Estate Transactions -- will be
provided on citation. This partnership of standards and technology will
empower an environmental professional or organization to quickly act upon
and efficiently manage the evolving due diligence assessment requirements
that affect the real property transaction marketplace.
"We are very excited to bring another ASTM subscription portal service to
market on our powerful and user-friendly Web-based platform," said John
Vitale, vice president, corporate business development, Citation
Technologies Inc. "Environmental professionals will enhance and accelerate
their access to the preeminent standards pertaining to property transfer
risk assessment and comprehensive regulations by using Citation's
best-in-class content presentation and workflow productivity platform."
The ASTM Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and
Corrective Action oversees the development of standards that play a
critical role in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions,
corrective action, pollution prevention and beneficial use. On March 3,
2008, the committee released its newest document, ASTM E2600-08 Standard
Practice for Assessment of Vapor Intrusion into Structures on Property
Involved in Real Estate Transactions.
"The new Vapor Intrusion Standard will play a major role and complement
existing guidelines in the environmental site assessment area," said John
Pace, ASTM vice president publications and marketing. "This new standard
details and defines good commercial and customary practice for conducting a
vapor intrusion assessment (VIA) on a property with respect to chemicals of
concern (COC). Delivery of the standard on this new portal product offering
from Citation will help meet environmental professionals' need to access
all relevant standards and regulations seamlessly and share relevant
information with their colleagues performing similar assessment activities
across the country. Providing access to the right information in an
efficient manner will make performing all due diligence activities more
productive."
Users of ASTM environmental due diligence standards will benefit from the
citation platform's powerful search tools and its collaboration,
notification and change-management functionality. The platform also offers
click-through access to all referenced environmental, safety and health
regulations, a subset of Citation's flagship CyberRegs™ portal service.
These productivity-enhancing features will enable environmental
professionals to share customer requirements, interpretations and best
practices with their colleagues directly within the ASTM standards and
regulations documents and access all relevant information governing
environmental due diligence requirements in a single Web-based solution.
Subscribers to the citation service utilize a broad array of research,
collaboration and change-management functionality via a turnkey Web portal
platform. Users can concurrently search the ASTM standards and related
regulations for keywords and phrases. They can also annotate, incorporate
or connect the appropriate sections of standards, specifications and
regulations to relevant company policy and procedure documents.
"Citation has created and continues to service the ASTM DOT and ASTM
Biodiesel Web portal subscription services, and will soon launch several
additional new standards portal offerings which go hand in hand with
existing regulatory directives in both the U.S. and Europe," Pace added.
"We look forward to working with Citation and the consumers of the ASTM
