USU achieves best result in the company’s history - 
increase of dividend by 50%

USU Software AG, a leading software company in the area of Business Service
Management, today announced its provisional figures for 2007. USU increased
consolidated revenues (in line with IFRS) by 19.7% to EUR 31.0 million
(2006: EUR 25.9 million). At the same time, USU pushed up profitability
even more strongly in the reporting period. Thus, in the 2007 financial
year EBITDA improved by 50.3% year-on-year to EUR 3.5 million (2006: EUR
2.3 million). This is the best result in USU’s history. In the 2007
financial year EBIT improved by 91.4% year-on-year to EUR 1.9 million
(2006: EUR 1.0 million). EBT improved by 59.4% to EUR 2.4 million (2006:
EUR 1.5 million). After taxes, USU doubled net income in the reporting
period to EUR 4.5 million (2006: EUR 2.1 million). Earnings per share
increased from EUR 0.23 in 2006 to EUR 0.44 in the reporting year. The USU
Software AG Management Board and Supervisory Board will thus propose the
Annual General Meeting on June 19, 2008 to increase the dividend per
entitled share by 50% to EUR 0.15 (2006: EUR 0.10).
USU publishes its final figures on March 27, 2008.
