TASER International Receives Two Law Enforcement Orders; Suffolk County Police Department and North Dakota Highway Patrol Purchase TASER Devices

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 6, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- TASER(r) International, Inc. (Nasdaq:TASR), a market leader in advanced electronic control devices, today announced that it received two large orders from law enforcement agencies. The first order was received from the Suffolk County Police Department, in Yaphank, NY, for 225 TASER(r) X26(tm) Electronic Control Devices (ECDs). The second order was received from the North Dakota Highway Patrol in Bismarck, ND, for 140 TASER(r) X26(tm) ECDs, plus two TASER(r) CAM(tm) audio/visual recording systems and related accessories.
