PUSA to Support New Album and Tour With SyncLive.com(TM) Webcasts

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - March 10, 2008) - Luthier PR -- The Presidents of the United States of America (PUSA) will be celebrating the release of their new CD -- "These Are the Good Times People" -- with two free live webcasts on SyncLive.com™.

The first is an in-store performance at Seattle's Easy Street Records on Monday, March 10 beginning at 10 PM Pacific Time. The second is a live stream of PUSA's much anticipated homecoming show at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, on Saturday, March 15, also at 10 PM Pacific. This show will be the first-ever virtual "in-store" performance on Amazon.com, as fans will be able to watch the show with the SyncLive.com player on Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/earworm) and purchase or download the album at discounted prices. "These Are the Good Times People" will be officially released March 11 on Fugitive/EMI.

"We're excited to have the Presidents of the United States of America coming on the site," said SyncLive.com founder Aric Berquist. "They broke big out of the Seattle music scene in the mid-90s with a self-produced record, and they continue to embrace innovative ways of getting their music to their fans. That's a big part of what SyncLive.com is all about."

The new CD is PUSA's first full-length release since "Love Everybody" in 2004. Working with the Presidents of the United States of America on the new record was Kurt Bloch of the Young Fresh Fellows and the Fastbacks, and at the mixing board was Martin Feveyear, who has done work with the Screaming Trees, The Epoxies and Amber Pacific, among others.

The March 10 and March 15 events are part of a busy week for PUSA that includes a performance at South by Southwest (SXSW) on March 13 and a concert at Portland's Crystal Ballroom on March 14. These shows kick off the "The Good Times Tour," which will eventually take the Presidents around North America, Europe, Japan and Australia.
