Cargotec Corporation, Stock Exchange Announcement, April 29, 2008 at 11:15 a.m. Finnish time A total number of 33,837 new class B shares have been subscribed with Cargotec option rights that were granted as part of the demerged Kone Corporation's year 2004 option program. The amount of 2005A and 2005B option rights used for share subscription was 10,495 and 784 respectively. The subscriptions increase Cargotec's share capital by EUR 33,837. The share capital increase has been entered in the trade register on April 29, 2008 and trading in the shares together with the old shares will begin on April 30, 2008. Cargotec's share capital after the increase totals EUR 64,269,120. The amount of class B shares after the subscription is 54,743,031 shares. The number of class A shares remains unchanged at 9,526,089 shares. The new shares will entitle to all shareholder rights from the registration date April 29, 2008. Each Cargotec option right entitles the holder to subscribe for three Cargotec class B shares. The share subscription price according to the terms of the option program is EUR 8.59 per share. The share subscription period with 2005A option rights ended on March 31, 2008. During the subscription period, a total of 216,555 Cargotec class B shares were subscribed with the option rights. The share subscription period with 2005B option rights lasts until March 31, 2009 and 139,890 shares remain to be subscribed for with them.
