Kreiter Joins Transportation Services Team At Standard Parking


CHICAGO, June 30, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Standard Parking Corporation (Nasdaq:STAN), one of the nation's leading providers of parking management, ground transportation and other ancillary services, announced today that Frederic J. Kreiter has joined the Company as Vice President of Transportation Services. In this capacity, Mr. Kreiter will be responsible for the growth and development of the ground transportation and shuttle bus services rendered throughout the Company. Mr. Kreiter's hiring reinforces Standard Parking's commitment to internal growth in the transportation services market. Based in the Company's Chicago headquarters, Mr. Kreiter will report to Jack Ricchiuto, Executive Vice President of Standard Parking's Airports and Transportation Division.

Mr. Kreiter joins the Company with 18 years of experience in the domestic and international public transportation business. Most recently, Mr. Kreiter served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Transportation Services, Inc., overseeing 10,000 employees and a 5,000 vehicle fleet that provided full fixed route, paratransit and shuttle bus services throughout the United States and the province of Ontario. Prior to his position at Veolia, Mr. Kreiter had served as President and Chief Operating Officer of ShuttlePort Transportation Services, LLC and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Vancom Inc. While at Vancom, Mr. Kreiter played a key role in privatizing public transportation in the Netherlands.
