First North announcement # 11, 2008
Copenhagen, July 4, 2008

Aresa has established two operational subsidiaries in Balkan to acquire and
start clearing landmine infected areas

During this week the two newly established subsidiaries in Croatia and Serbia,
respectively, have become operational. The objective for the two subsidiaries
is to engage in projects clearing landmines and ammunition in the two
countries, as it has previously been communicated in First North announcements
#3 and #8.

In collaboration with regional stakeholders and local companies, it is planned
to invest an amount up to DKK 5 mill. in mine infected areas and to start the
clearing of the mines during 2008. The areas will be carefully selected with
focus on the socio-economic potential for the local community, when the
landmines have been cleared.

”We intend to start clearing more than 500.000 m2 during 2008, corresponding to
500 plots for family houses or 5% of the total cleared area in Croatia in
2006”, says Steen Thaarup, CEO of Aresa.

”There are many interesting economical perspectives in acquiring un-productive
areas, to be cleared and remediated into productivity again”, says Kim
Bretting, who has been appointed as director for the two subsidiaries, and he
continues: ”the most important however, is we can increase the area of arable
land including creating a number of jobs directly and indirectly”.

The content of this message is not expected to have impact on the result for the
current financial year.
