Trustwave Appoints New Business Development Manager for Trustwave do Brasil

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - July 10, 2008) - Trustwave, the leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance management solutions to businesses and organizations throughout the world, announces the appointment of Isabel Silva to manager of business development of Trustwave do Brasil.

Silva has 24 years of experience in the payment card industry, with a heavy emphasis on the development of products related to credit, debit and private label cards. Silva spent 9 years at Visa do Brasil in multiple roles, most recently as the director of risk, where she helped in the implementation of technology for the detection of fraud, including the generation of MIS and the control of fraud figures.

At Trustwave, Silva will be responsible for the firm's business development activity in Brazil, including new business opportunities, channel and alliance partnerships. Her extensive knowledge of the industry will help secure new business activity to grow Trustwave do Brasil, and in turn, help business partners understand the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and the steps necessary to achieve compliance.
