If awarded, the technology will bring them into compliance with federal mandates established by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in regards to interoperability and information sharing.
In the past, the Department of Homeland Security approved federal funding for the implementation of the COPsync(tm) technology. As an overlay product, COPsync(tm) works with existing technologies without the need to change current software or jeopardize existing vendor relationships.
