Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On September 3, 2008, Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Limited,
London, England notified us that it revokes its notification of voting
rights dated April 18, 2008, which was published by Daimler AG on April 21,
2008, because at the time stated in the notification no thresholds had been
reached and thus no obligation of notification existed.

Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Limited also informed us, that the
revocation is based on the fact that Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings
Limited, fulfils the requirements of § 32 para. 2 through 4 InvG, § 22
para. 3a WpHG, § 29a para. 3 WpHG.
