A Journey of Self-Discovery -- Follow the Life of Nikolai Malenko in A Madness

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a tale of one individual's struggle against self, against fate, against the forces of nature, and against societies which worship the gods of greed, ambition, power, ideology, mediocrity, and phony piety, author Serge Demyanenko weaves the riveting story of Nikolai Malenko, his brother-in-arms, brother-in-mind, and brother-in-tastes. With A Madness that only they can understand, Demyanenko also shares a passionate search for adventure, romance, and meaning, which ultimately shows a celebration of life.

Follow Nikolai in his fight and in his search, where he soars with eagles, spends nights hooting with owls, and spends seemingly endless moments with turkeys. Witness his struggles as you tag along in this journey. Accompany this hero in a romance that depicts tales of his life as a well-educated, intelligent, young man who mistakes sex for love and learning for wisdom. He is commissioned in the U.S. Regular Army where he volunteers for every elite unit and hazardous assignment. Join him in his career as a soldier and as a counterspy, which spans three decades on three continents. Follow him in his many colorful adventures in the corridors of power, in bedrooms, and on the battlefield.

But is this everything he has hoped and wanted for in his life? Does he realize that what he has been looking for, had been his all along - but he just didn't know it? Join him in his journey in A Madness.
