2008 Fourth Quarter Results and Conference Call Thursday, 5th February 2009



Metro International S.A. ("Metro International" or "the Company"),
the international newspaper group, will announce its financial
results for the fourth quarter ended 31st December 2008 and for the
full financial year 2008 on Thursday 5th February 2009 at 8:00 A.M.
(CET). The Company will host a conference call to present these
results at 10:00 A.M. CET on the same day which will be broadcast
live on the Internet and as a conference call.

Hosts from the Company for this conference call will be Per Mikael
Jensen, CEO and President, and Anders Kronborg, CFO.
