CORONA DEL MAR, Calif., Feb. 9, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ICC Worldwide, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ICCW) today announced that the firm has begun doing business in Belgium. Working through a small group of reseller agents, ICC has substantially expanded its operations and revenue base by adding a major new group of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) based call shop customers in Belgium. ICC recently announced the operational availability of a new intelligent switch and data server. This new equipment has massively increased the firm's ability to handle VoIP call traffic, while simultaneously improving the reliability of ICC's network.

This condition forced us to be very cautious and quite deliberate about expansion of our operations. I am pleased to say we no longer have a limitation in this area. Of course, we have been planning this expansion for some time. However, our ability to implement these plans was dependent on the availability of the new equipment. With over 30 million immigrant workers in Europe, our target market is vast. And with these latest enhancements, ICC is now well positioned to vigorously continue expanding its VoIP and communications-related activities in Italy, Belgium and other regions in Europe."
