expanded its business relationship with DZ BANK AG by signing a long-term
contract to provide the bank with information and market data.

During the ordinary contract term of 10 years, sales volume will reach
about EUR40 million. vwd AG expects that the expanded business relationship
will begin to have a positive effect on earnings in the ongoing fiscal
year.

In the future, vwd AG will provide browser-based market data solutions and
Internet portals in addition to terminal products for the GIS product line
at DZ BANK AG. vwd AG will offer innovative complete solutions in these
three areas. By using the vwd solutions, DZ BANK AG is introducing a new
generation of GIS products. The future business relationship will also
focus on intensively and continuously refining the products and solutions.
