on 03 March 2009:

The following notification is made in the name of Ameriprise Financial,
Inc., Minneapolis, USA.

The share of voting stocks of Ameriprise Financial Inc. in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, Germany, went below the
threshold of 5% of the total voting stocks of the company on 27 February
2009.

The percentage of voting rights of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG at 27 February 2009 amounted to 4.956% (5,138,064 shares).
These voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Ameriprise
Financial, Inc. pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6, sent. 2 and sent. 3
WpHG.
