Harsco Corporation Appoints New Executive to Lead Its Harsco Infrastructure Group-Americas Region Operations


HARRISBURG, Pa., March 5, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Worldwide industrial services company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) announced today that Eric A. Reisner is joining the Company's global leadership team to head the Americas region of the Harsco Infrastructure business group, effective March 16, 2009.

Harsco's Infrastructure group serves the global infrastructure construction and industrial plant maintenance sectors as one of the world's leading providers of engineered scaffolding and concrete formwork systems and services. As President-Americas for Harsco Infrastructure, Mr. Reisner will assume executive management responsibility for all Harsco Infrastructure group operations and business growth opportunities throughout North, Central and South America. He will report to John W. Barrett, Chief Operating Officer of the Harsco Infrastructure group.

Mr. Reisner joins Harsco from Johnson Controls, where he served as a vice president in the areas of global business strategy, business development, and operations management. Mr. Reisner also served as President of Performance Services in the global process control industry for Emerson Electric Co. He is a graduate of the State University of New York.
