Lewis Ashman has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Purdue University. He has studied at Sinclair Community College, Wright State, and University of Dayton. He presently teaches in the Kettering School System in Kettering, Ohio. His poems have appeared in numerous small magazines and he has a chapbook, Forty Days, published by New Song Press.
