Kim Riley Named President of First Horizon Insurance


NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kim Riley has been named president of First Horizon Insurance, a subsidiary of First Horizon National Corporation (NYSE:FHN).

Riley has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance business. She joined First Tennessee Insurance Services in 2004 as senior vice president and manager of consumer insurance services. She was most recently chief operating officer for First Horizon Insurance. Riley succeeds George Anderson, who retired.

Prior to joining First Horizon, Riley was a senior executive at CNA Insurance Company in Nashville responsible for development and implementation of strategies to grow new business and improve the underwriting divisions.

Riley has a bachelor's degree in management and human relations from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is also a Fellow of the Life Management Institute, the world's largest university-level education program in insurance and financial services.
