MARTELA OYJ STARTS PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS REGARDING PERSONNEL ADJUSTMENTS
Due to changes in the market situation Martela starts personnel negotiations
regarding personnel adjustments in the parent company, Martela Oyj. The company
has estimated the number of personnel to be reduced by approximately 30.
Adjustments have been planned to be executed through lay-offs and notices during
2010. The primary reason for the rearrangements is the general market situation
and the weakening of demand.
At the end of September 2009 Martela Oyj had 336 employees of which 200 were
white collar and 136 blue collar. Martela has 638 employees in total.
