eGames Unearths Treasure Seekers 1 and 2 for Retail

LANGHORNE, Pa., Jan. 11, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Casual games publisher and developer eGames, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EGAM) announced today that it has signed an agreement giving eGames exclusive North American retail distribution rights to popular hidden object games Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold(TM) and Treasure Seekers 2: The Enchanted Canvases(TM) from Artogon Games. Released exclusively online on Big Fish Games, both titles reached the number one sales spot on arguably the industry's top hidden object game website.

"With the addition of the Treasure Seekers series to our retail portfolio, eGames appears poised to maintain the sales momentum generated by our current offerings, including record-breaking Mystery Legends(TM): Sleepy Hollow," said eGames Vice President, Sales and Marketing Rich Siporin. "We are pleased with the holiday season performance of our titles to date, and look forward to further strengthening our product line with Treasure Seekers 1 and 2."

Artogon Games' Treasure Seekers series burst onto the casual game scene in 2008 with Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold. Following the exploits of two young heroes searching for their pirate grandmother's lost riches, the game was named the Big Fish Games Runner-Up Adventure Game of the Year. Treasure Seekers 2: The Enchanted Canvases continued the adventure in mid 2009, equaling its predecessor's number one sales ranking, and earning honors as a runner-up for the Big Fish Games Puzzle Adventure Game of the Year award.

"We are very happy to bring the Treasure Seekers series to US retail together with eGames, expanding the casual gamer audience even more," said Artogon Games Executive Producer Timofey Sadovsky. "Our approach is to make games that are a bit different from others in terms of game play. We try to make them as high quality as we can and put our creativity and individualism into every game we create. We hope people feel we really love what we are doing."

Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold and Treasure Seekers 2: The Enchanted Canvases are trademarks of Artogon Games. Mystery Legends is a trademark of pixelStorm entertainment studios Inc.
