A new high-end custom-designed sound system for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is
the latest result of the successful cooperation between Mercedes-AMG and Bang &
Olufsen.
The co-operation between Mercedes-AMG and Bang & Olufsen has been taken to the
next level with the introduction of a matchless sound system for the
Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Besides 15 high performance speakers, the BeoSound AMG
high-end sound system includes a total amplifier power of 1.200 Watts.
From September 2010, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound AMG high-end sound system,
which was developed jointly with Mercedes-AMG engineers, will be available in
the complete engine line-up, starting with the V6 gas and diesel engines, the
hybrid and up to the powerful V8 and V12 versions of the S-Class. The BeoSound
AMG system is standard equipment in the S65 AMG.
The agreement does not affect Bang & Olufsen's expectations for the current
financial year.
