Totally Green Helps Set the Green Agenda for New York City ... and Beyond

TULSA, Okla., Feb. 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The spiraling cost of food waste removal in New York City is in for a budget cut, according to William Horner, CEO, of Totally Green, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TLGN). "We have been working for the last several years to demonstrate our ORCA  technology in one of the most difficult environments in the world to get rid of garbage."

In 2008, an ORCA machine was installed in a ShopRite grocery store in the New York City Metro area to handle the hundreds of pounds of food cuttings generated every day in their fresh produce department. Gina McConeghy, ShopRite's Director of Quality Assurance, commented that "after the ORCA machine was installed, we saw the reduction of our garbage hauling and tipping fees. Besides that, our employees are glad to be a part of the ORCA program that helps our environment while reducing costs."

In 2009, Morgan Stanley Corporate Headquarters-Times Square installed an ORCA which has been performing its duties 24/7 and saving money every day of the year. "This is one of the sites that has done an excellent job of keeping good operational and financial records on the ORCA Green Machine's performance," stated Bob Humberstone, Totally Green's Chief Consultant for its ORCA Division. Kathrina O'Mahoney, Food Service Director, calls the ORCA "an amazing invention ... practical and efficient." Morgan Stanley recently installed a second ORCA Green Machine at another nearby location.

"Since the ORCA Green Machine is the only U.S. made machine of its kind," Horner concluded, "it hits the goals and objectives of both the public and private sectors as an example of the new "green technology" movement. We are seeing additional ORCA Green Machine sites being established throughout the United States, and not surprisingly, we are in discussions with many potential clients outside the United States as well. With our growing network of Totally Green representatives, along with successful operational sites, we expect to have a strong finish to this year."

Several other sites in New York City are in discussion with Totally Green, Inc. to replicate the success of the ORCA Green Machine "pioneers". Rob Phillips, Totally Green, Inc.'s President stated that "The ORCA Green Machine™ helps businesses to GO GREEN and stay in the black. It is now possible for any location that generates as little as 400 pounds of food waste and up to 2,400 pounds per day to become a part of the Totally Green Program."
